Dear Family and Friends,
This has been a very busy year for our family. We have had many changes and lots of new experiences!
January 12, 2009 ~ First prenatal visit and ultrasound! We found out we were pregnant on 12/13/09.
February 2009 ~ Jason made over a dozen Excel models including a complex amortization schedule for mortgages and refinancing, an advanced stock analysis, a mutual fund analyzer for thousands of funds, a stock market analyzer that texts results to his phone and one that retrieves bank interest rates. Among many other Excel functions, Jason learned how to have Excel read aloud, email, and text.
March 9, 2009 ~ Jason was accepted to the University Of Nebraska Lincoln College Of Law.
March 16, 2009 ~ Jason was accepted to the University Of Wyoming College Of Law and awarded a scholarship. We had decided attend school in Laramie, until we received an email at the end of June…
March 25, 2009 ~ Brittany got a job working for the Idaho Census Bureau going door to door with a GPS system, mapping addresses in Rexburg, Idaho.
April 2, 2009 ~ We hosted a 70’s party with a disco ball, costumes, music, food, friends, and games. We played the Newlywed Game and also learned some fun 70s terms such as “do me a solid” and “Bogart.”
April 13, 2009 ~ Second ultrasound…We were having a girl!
May 2, 2009 ~ Went to Salmon, Idaho to help with Branding! Brittany had never seen branding before!
June 24, 2009 ~ Jason was accepted to the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, which we accepted, with only a 1 1/2 months to plan housing, moving, and funding!
July 23, 2009 ~ Jason graduated from BYU-Idaho with his BS in Business Management Emphasis in Finance with a 3.83 GPA. Congratulations Jason!
July 24, 2009 ~ Moved from Rexburg, Idaho to Centennial, Colorado. We also had to change OBGYNs (at 36 weeks), and re-apply for Medicaid and WIC.
August 10-13, 2009 ~ Jason had law school orientation at DU.
August 13, 2009 ~ Annie Elizabeth Meyers joined us at 8:12am weighing 7lbs 8oz & was 21” long.
August 17, 2009 ~ Jason started law school at the University Of Denver Sturm College Of Law.
August 21, 2009 ~ Annie got an eye infection and went to the ER at 1 week old.
September 4, 2009 ~ Annie went to the ER yet again after getting a nosebleed and aspirating blood causing her to stop breathing. We were taken via a Flight For Life Ambulance to Denver Children’s Hospital where we stayed for 3 days. After 11 pokes, 3 x-rays, and an echocardiogram we were told that she had a common cold virus, which caused an “acute life-threatening event.”
October 11, 2009 ~ Annie had her baby blessing. We had lots of family join us for this special event.
October 13, 2009 ~ Annie had her 2 month appointment. She was 10lbs .5oz (30%) and 22.5” long (58%).
October 31, 2009 ~ Halloween! We wore our 70s costumes and Annie dressed up as a disco ball! Chipotle gave away free burritos if you dressed up like a burrito and we got 12 free burritos!!!
November 14, 2009 ~ Jason was involved in the Student Trial Lawyer Association (STLA), where they held mock trials and learned the appropriate terms and actions for trial work.
